Our Ministry in the local Community
Upper Hunter Christian Education Association
Formed in 2013 by the amalgamation of Muswellbrook and Scone Christian Education Associations. An ecumenical organisation with representatives of most local Christian churches. This organisation funds the employment of a local Special Religious Education Teacher. UHCEA works with Generate Ministries to make this happen in terms of curriculum resources, staff training etc. Scone High commenced SRE classes in 2008. Davinder Garbyal is the current local SRE teacher, working 1 day/week at Scone High and 2 days/week at Muswellbrook High.
